Hestvikskaret (a gap), 3 points

                   

Starting point: The white gate at the bend in Hestvika.
Fine and mostly dry and rocky ground and heather moors. Slight ascent. The walk is also suitable for children. Estimate approx. 45 min. Great views of Kjul and the Vega fjord when you arrive at the box with the registration book. Degree of difficulty: easy.

From here you have two options: either you can go downhill to Kjul or you can face the physical challenge and continue the marked trail to Kjulsveten. The ascent in the beginning is quite demanding. Estimate approx. 45 minutes for this distance too, depending on the need for breaks. Degree of difficulty: moderate.
